Janet Schuh, age 75, of Chilton, died with her family by her side on Sunday, October 23, 2016 following a brief illness at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Appleton.

She was born June 14, 1941 in Upper Marlboro, Maryland, daughter of the late Michael Thomas & Mildred Kathleen (Duley) Wyvill.

Upon moving to Chilton, Janet began opening "Grandma's House Daycare" in Chilton for the remainder of her life. Many children were blessed to have been cared for by Jan, but moreover, Jan was truly blessed by every child who had passed through her door. Nothing brought her more joy than the many amazing children in her life. Every one of the them was unique and incredibly special to her and Jan was so proud of what they all did and accomplished as they grew.

In her free time, Jan enjoyed tending to her flower beds, hitting up rummage sales and relaxing with a good read. With a great sense of humor, Jan also never passed up and opportunity to pull one over on her children or those she loved.

Survivors include her children: John (Kathy) Schuh, Mike Schuh, Lisa (John) Giesen, Jenny Schuh; her grandchildren: Melissa Ver Boort, Josh & Holly Schuh, Jordan Marie Gill, Olivia Ameilia-Mikie Schuh; great grandchildren: Kaitlynn, Kylee, Emma, Colton, Marlie; a brother: Michael Thomas (Ruth) Wyvill, II, Cynthia Lee (Jerry) DuCellier, Alice Amelia (Joe) Harrison; a sister-in-law: Connie Wyvill; her best friend: Pat Stadtmueller; and the many kids from "Grandma's House Daycare". She is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; a daughter: Jeannette R. Schuh; an infant son: Jimmy; and a brother: James Robert Ridgly Wyvill.

To commemorate Jan's life, a walk through will take place at her home (130 Jefferson St.) in Chilton from 1:00 pm until 5:00 pm on Saturday, October 29, 2016.
