- LaVonne "Boni" G. Bacon. 89, Green Bay passed away peacefully early Saturday morning April 12, 2014. Boni was born May 24, 1924 in Canning, South Dakota to the late Seymour and Muriel (Newton) Woodland. On March 1, 1947 she married Elwood Bacon. Boni worked lovingly to raise her three boys. She had worked at Sears in Green Bay as the Credit Manager. Boni liked to garden, golf, travel and camp in her spare time. After Elwood passed away she moved to Tucson, Az. And there she married Robert Renwick, and they spent seven wonderful years together before he passed away.
Boni is survived by her sons; Clay (Betina Fink) Bacon, and Rodney (Barb) Bacon. She is further survived by her grandchildren; Catherine (Brittany Davis) Bacon, Olivia Bacon, Waylon Bacon, Amber Bacon, Jennifer (Troy) Coonen, Virginia (Jeremy) Bodus, and her great granddaughter Kennedy Bodus.
Boni was preceded in death by her first husband Elwood Bacon, her second husband Robert Renwick, as well as her son Michael Bacon.
Friends may call at the RYAN FUNERAL HOME 305 N. Tenth Street in De Pere after 3pm today April 16, 2014 until time of service at 4pm with Pastor Jan Davis officiaiting burial in Lawrence Cemetery. Please go to www.ryanfh.com to send online condolences to the family.
