      Van Beek, Ann Marie Ann M. Van Beek, 98, Menasha, died Saturday, March 11, 2006, at Century Oaks, Town of Menasha. She was born Nov. 29, 1907, in Tabor, South Dakota, daughter of John and Ann (Hale) Vitek. Ann married George Van Beek, April 26, 1947, in Neenah and he preceded her in death April 17, 2005. She was a member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, Menasha and a former member of the Rosary Society. Ann loved flowers, cooking and her grandchildren. Mrs. Van Beek is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Donald and Donna Van Beek, Menasha; a son-in-law, Algi Mitka, South Milwaukee; three grandchildren: Dan Van Beek, Neenah; Susan (Marty) Felker, Bartlett, Illinois; Luann Van Beek, Menasha and her fiance Jeff Luehring, Appleton; two great grandchildren: Randy and Anna Felker; a brother, Ivan Vitek and a sister, Marcella (Emil) Pechous, both of Yankton, S.D.; two sisters-in-law, Evelyn Kostel, Yankton, S. D. and Mary (Jerry) Lund, Fla. Ann was also preceded in death by her daughter, Marlene Mitka; five brothers and two sisters. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, March 14, 2006, at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, Menasha with the Rev. Paul Radetski officiating. Interment will be in St. Margaret Cemetery, Neenah. Friends may call at the church from 9 a.m. Tuesday until the time of the mass. A memorial has been established. The family wishes to express a special thank you to the staff at Century Oaks, Irish Road and Heartland Hospice for all their kindness, good care and compassion.
