- Keith Van Schelfhout Appleton Age 30, tragically died Friday, August 11, 2000. He was born March 27, 1970 to Richard and Sandy (Van Rossum) Schelfhout in Appleton, Wisconsin. Keith had a zest for life. He connected well with his entire family, regularly giving his time, talent and energy. Keith was a problem solver who always believed a goal could be attained through hard work and determination. He enjoyed hunting and fishing with his Dad. Keith had a passion for mechanics and construction along with riding his Gold Wing with his uncles and cousins. He is survived by his grandmother Rose Van Rossum his parents, Dick and Sandy two brothers, Scott Schelfhout and Chad (Monica) Schelfhout two nephews, Calvin and Ezra Schelfhout.

He was preceded in death by a beloved daughter, Kari Marie Janssen-Schelfhout his grandparents, Norbert Van Rossum and Ed and Hilda Schelfhout two aunts, Ann Martin and Evelyn Schelfhout an uncle, Gary Roepcke and a cousin, Mary Jo Schelfhout. Keith's Liturgy Service will be held Tuesday, August 15, 2000 at 11 a.m. at the Evangel Community Church, 359 Broad Street, Menasha with the Rev. Richard McDonald officiating.
Friends will be received Monday at the Funeral Home from 4 p.m. until the time of Keith's prayer service at 7:30 p.m. and again on Tuesday at the Funeral Home from 9 a.m. until 10 a.m. In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund is being established in Keith's name.
