  Post-Crescent (newspaper) Appleton, Wisconsin June 3, 2005 Kroes, Joyce M. Joyce M. Kroes, age 76, of Menasha, passed away Tuesday, May 31, 2005 at Colony Oaks. She was born in Escanaba, MI on November 8, 1928 to the late Bowdwin and Elizabeth Vanlerbergh. She is survived by her daughters: Elizabeth Herrmann, Menasha; Susan (fiance Michael Tierney) Blum, Hudson MA; grandchildren: Melanie Blum, Damion (Marla) Thibodeaux, Melissa Herrman and special friend Cory Whitcomb and great-grandchildren: Cody, Cory Dunn, and Arianna, Drew Thibodeaux; brother-in-law, Leslie Kallio; numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by two sisters including a twin, a brother, her first husband Arthur Blum and her second husband Henry Kroes. A memorial service will be held Thursday, June 2, 2005 from 4 p.m. - 6 p.m. at the Valley Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers and other tokens of sympathy, the family is establishing a memorial fund. We would like to thank the entire staff at Colony Oaks for their love and care of our mother.
