Notes - Mrs. Martin Vanden Elsen

Age 75, died Tuesday at 10 a.m. after a
lingering illness. She was born December
19, 1899 in Holland and had lived in
Appleton most of her lifetime. She was a
member of St. Pius X Catholic Church.
Survivors include her husband, Martin;
five daughters, Mrs. Harold (Gertrude)
Schlusner of Sheboygan, Mrs. Reinhold
(Dena) Mayefski of Menasha, Miss
Marie Vanden Elsen, Miss Rosemary
Vanden Elsen, and Mrs. Rita Mikkelsen,
all of Appleton; a son," John Vanden
."Elsen of Kimberly; four sisters; and a
brother, ail living in Holland; 13
grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
The funeral will be Friday at
10 a.m. at St. Pius X Catholic Church
with the Rev. John Neuser officiating.
Interment will be in St. Joseph Cemetery.
Friends may call at the Valley Funeral
Home after 4 p.m. Thursday and
Friday from 8 a.m. until 9:30 and then
at the church until the hour of the service.
There will be a prayer service at 8
p.m. Wednesday.
