    • Linda Rose (Stormfeltz) Voigt, age 60, of Mackville, passed away surrounded by her family after a long battle with cancer, on Sunday, May 1, 2016, at ThedaCare Regional Medical Center-Appleton. Linda was born February 17, 1956, in Appleton, the daughter of Clarence and Verona (Braeger) Stromfeltz. She attended Appleton area schools and graduated from Appleton West High School with the class of 1974.

On January 20, 1977, Linda married Robin A. Voigt in Appleton, where they made their home and raised their family. Linda and Robin shared 39 wonderful years together.

Linda worked for Zwicker's Knitting Mill until it closed. She then attended Fox Valley Technical College and studied Computer Programming. After earning her Associates Degree, Linda went to work for Wausau Paper, working until her declining health forced her to quit.

Linda loved being a homemaker and being with her grandchildren and family. She enjoyed knitting and all types of music, especially country music. Each grandchild will remember and cherish the special blanket grandma made for each one of them.

She is survived by her loving husband, Robin A. Voigt; daughters, Cynthia (Steven) Thompson and Jennifer Voigt (Aaron Tutland); daughter-in-law, Jaclyn Voigt; seven grandchildren, Taylor, Brooke, Trinity, Logan, Matthew, Dakota, and Dixee; sister, Joyce (Wilfred) Herz; brother and sister-in-law, Vern Jr. (Christine) Voigt; and many nieces and nephews. Linda was preceded in death by her son, Shawn Voigt; parents, Clarence and Verona (Braeger) Stormfeltz; her mother and father-in-law, Vern Sr. and Regina Voigt; brother and sister-in-laws, Steven Voigt, and Jeffrey (Diane) Voigt.

Visitation for family and friends will be on Friday, May 6, 2016, from 4-8 p.m., at VALLEY FUNERAL HOME, 2211 N. Richmond Street, Appleton. Visitation will continue on Saturday, May 7, 2016, from 9:30 a.m. until the funeral service at 10:30 a.m., with Pastor Rudy Herbich officiating. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery.
