    • Appleton - Carrie Ann Ermers, age 76, died peacefully on Monday, June 25, 2018 at The Bridges of Appleton.

      Carrie was born on June 21, 1942 in Crystal Falls, Michigan a daughter of the late George and Ann (Suheski) Skovera. Following her education and raising her children she was a secretary at the Fox Valley Technical College for several years. Carrie was very crafty. She enjoyed the slot machines, bingo, sewing, making floral arrangements and puzzles.

      Carrie is survived by her loving children, Joel (Jody) Bowser, Deborah Bowser, and Darlene (Jon) Shadduck all of Appleton, six grandchildren, Zach (Tiana) Bowser, Heather Brown, Michael (Liana) Bowser, Amanda Bowser, Shalayna Reeck and Austin Bowser, and by 16 great-grandchildren, her first husband, Floyd Bowser, a brother, John (Jean) Skovera, a sister, Grace (Larry) Javorski and by several nieces, nephews and good friends. She was preceded in death by her second husband Frank Ermers.

      The funeral service will be held 2 p.m. Friday, June 29, 2018 at Valley Funeral Home. Carrie's family will receive relatives and friends at the funeral home on Friday from 1 p.m. until the hour of service. Entombment will follow in the Star of Hope Mausoleum.

      Carrie's family would like to extend a special thank you to the nursing staff at The Bridges of Appleton for all their care and compassion they render unto Carrie and her family.
