- Menahsa - Diane E. Bodmer, age 60, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family at home on Sunday, December 23, 2018. She was born November 11, 1958 in Merced, Ca, daughter of the late John and Dorothy (Rose) Skirpan.
Diane was an Air Force brat, spending her childhood living throughout Europe and several bases in the US, before settling in Neenah in 1971. She graduated from Neenah High School in 1976.
Diane married Ron Bodmer on November 1, 1985. They loved to travel together and she enjoyed a good glass of wine. Diane was as kind and loving person and a caregiver to those in need.
Survivors include her husband, Ron; a son, John Vanden Boom; an uncle, Kenneth (Angie) Robinson; and two brothers-in-law: Bob (Mary) Bodmer, Rick Larson.
Diane was preceded in death by a sister, Kathleen Larson; and three aunts: Mayme Robinson, Patty Farina, Marge Tweardy.
A Memorial Service will be held at Menasha's Westgor Funeral Home at 1:00 PM on Friday, December 28, 2018, with Rev. Mike Huff officiating. The visitation will be held from 11:00 AM until the hour of service. In lieu of flowers a memorial is being established.
The family would like to thank ThedaCare at Home Hospice, the 5th floor nursing staff at Theda Clark Medical Center, and the staff of Fox Valley Hematology and Oncology for all their care and compassion the past several months.
