- WAUSAU -- Funeral services for Mrs. Auguste Brandl, 80, Wausau, whose two brothers reside in Spencer and Medford, will be held tomorrow morning at 8:30 o'clock in the Hildensperger & Kostuck Funeral Home here and at 9 o'clock in St. Mary's Catholic Church.
Mrs. Brandl, the former Miss Auguste Ziebarth, died Monday evening at her home following a lingering illness. She was born Sept. 26, 1874, in Germany and was married in October, 1892 in Marathon County. Her husband, John Brandl, died in 1912, and Mrs. Brandl had resided in Wausau for the past 41 years.
The body will be taken to Stratford for interment in St. Joseph cemetery, with graveside rites by the Rt. Rev. Msgr. A. N. Schuh, Stratford. A rosary service will be held in the funeral home tonight at 7:30 o'clock.
Surviving are two sons, John H. Brandl, Wausau, and Raymond M. Brandl, Appleton; a daughter, Mrs. William Kumbier, Wausau; two sisters, Mrs. Minnie Conrad, Wausau, and Mrs. Mary Wettstein, Oconto Falls; two brothers, Albert Ziebarth, Spencer, and August Ziebarth, Medford; six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
