- Christiane Wendt 93 passed away peacefully on October 6, 2016 at Country Villa Assisted Living Facility. She was born to the late Maurice and Simone (Carlier) Rottee in Paris, France on October 27, 1922. She married Arthur Wendt on December 28, 1946 at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Appleton; he preceded her in death on October 7, 1999. She worked at Zwicker for many years. She was a member of St. John the Baptist Church in Menasha for many years.
She is survived by her brother-in-law's; Donald Wendt, Edward (Marlene) Wendt and sister-in-law Virginia Lewin along with good friends Carol and Marilyn.
She is preceded in death by her husband Arthur, brother George Rottee; brother-in-law's Earl Wendt, Dick Wendt, Milt Lewin; sister-in-law's Ethel (Joe)Roovers, Dorothy (Cal) VandenBoogard, Helen Ely and Helen Wendt.
Funeral service will be held at Wichmann Laemmrich Chapel 312 Milwaukee St, WI 54952 on Tuesday, October 11, 2016. Visitation will be from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. with a Prayer Service at 6:00 p.m. with Deacon Don Schultz officiating.
