Robert P. Riordan, 71, a former resident of Calumet County, died at his home, 2347 N. Maryland Ave., Milwaukee, after a lingering illness.
Born on a farm in the town of Rantoul, he lived in Calumet County until moving to Oconto Falls, Wis., after his marriage. He made his home in Milwaukee for more than 20 years. Mr. Riordan was a member of St. Rose Catholic Church and the Holy Name Society of the parish.
Survivors are his wife, Rose Ellen; a daughter, Mrs. Viola Goetsch, and four sons, Robert J., Verne J., Paul A., and Arvid all of Milwaukee.
