  Source: Appleton Post Crescent Obituary Friday, April 10, 1987 Mrs. Arthur Joosten [Julia Para] Hots Springs, Arkansas Formerly of Appleton, age 82, died unexpectedly 8:30 a.m. Thursday, April 9, 1987. She was born March 7, 1905 in Independence, Wisconsin. Survivors include a son and daughter in-law, Arthur Jr. and Darlene, Hot Springs, Arkansas; six sisters, Adelade Bemis, Chicago; Doris Becker, California; Gen Minor, California; Martha Mathies, Milwaukee; Mary Sluga, Independence; Emma Polzer, Inependence; a grandchild, Jeanine, Madison. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday from St. John Catholic Church, Little Chute with Rev. Paul Radetski officiating. Interment will be in the parish cemetery. Friends may call at the Verkuilen Funeral Home from 4-9 p.m. Monday and from 9:30 a.m. Tuesday until the time of services. There will be a prayer service at 6:30 p.m. Monday.
