      Lorenz-Roche, Shane M.
      Shane Lorenz-Roche, 26, Kaukauna, died unexpectedly Monday, July 28, 2008, as the result of a motor vehicle accident. He was born April 30, 1982, in Elgin, Illinois, son of John Lorenz and Darcy Dunbar. Shane was employed at Bob and Dave's Lawn and Landscape, Kaukauna. He enjoyed fishing along with working on cars. Shane also enjoyed going up North to the cottage in Lakewood.
      Shane is survived by his fiancee, Katie Van Roy; son, Bryson and a daughter on the way; loving grandfather, George Roche, Elgin, IL; special father- and mother-in-law, Rick (Eileen) Van Roy, Little Chute; parents, John Lorenz, WI, Darcy Dunbar, MI; aunts and an uncle: Sherry (Russell) Armentrout, AZ; Georgetta Roche, Elgin, IL; George Roche, Jr., St. Louis, MO; Julia Karsten and Debbie Roche, both of Elgin, IL. Shane is also survived by Katie's brothers and family along with many cousins and other relatives and friends.
      He was preceded in death by his grandmothers: Viola Roche and Marge Van Roy; great-grandparents, Michael and Dorothy Roche; aunt, Noreen Roche and a cousin, Ashley Roche.
      Funeral services will be held at 6 p.m. Thursday, July 31, 2008, at the Verkuilen Funeral Home, 101 Canal St., Little Chute, WI 54140, with Rev. Msgr. James Vanden Hogen officiating. Interment will be in St. John Cemetery, Little Chute. Friends may call at the funeral home from 2 p.m. Thursday until the time of the service. In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established for Shane's children.
