      Age 64, died at 4:01 a.m. Sunday, August 21, 1983, at his residence following a short illness. He was born January 11, 1919, in the Town of Center. Until his retirement in 1981, he was president of the Appleton Appliance Company, Inc., (APCO, LP Gas Company), which he founded in 1947. He was a member of St. Bernard Catholic Church and its Usher Society, a member of the Knights of Columbus, and was its Past Faithful Navigator of the 4th Degree, Father Fitzmaurice Council, a member of the American Elks Club, Lodge No. 337, the Ridgeway Country Club, the Fox Valley Golf Club, and the Past President of the Noon Optimist Club. He had served on the Board of Directors of the Columbus Club and its Building Committee. He was a member of the Wisconsin L.P. Gas Association and served as its president from 1968 until 1969 and was a board member for many years. He was also a member of the Catholic Knights of Wisconsin, the United Commercial Travelers, and the Travelers Protective Association. Survivors include his wife, Wilma Lamers Loesselyong, with whom he celebrated their 43rd wedding anniversary on June 11 of this year; four daughters and their sons-in-law: Janice and Daniel Muelemans, Neenah; Carol and Thomas DeBruin, Seymour; Patricia and Thomas Goehler, Appleton; and Joan, at home; three sons and two daughters-in-law: Robert and Rebecca Loesselyong, James and Liz Loesselyong, and Michael Loesselyong, all of Appleton; five half-brothers: Carl and Gene, both of Menasha; Donald and Gerry, both of Appleton; and Daniel, Chicago; a half-sister, Mrs. Robert (Elizabeth) Nemacheck, Butler, Wisconsin; and 13 grandchildren. A complete and concelebrated funeral mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Wednesday, August 24, 1983, at St. Bernard Catholic Church, 1617 W. Pine Street, with Fathers Orville Janssen, Ronald Belitz and Robert Vandenberg as concelebrants. Entombment will be in Star of Hope Mausoleum, Highland Memorial Park. Friends may call at the Wichmann Funeral Home, 537 North Superior Street, from 4 to 9 p.m. Tuesday and after 8 a.m. Wednesday until the cortege leaves for the church. The prayer and scripture will be at 7:30 Tuesday evening. A memorial fund is being established.
