- Marty Lalko, 63, Of Mountain, WI, was called to his heavenly home on October 19, 2012. He was surrounded by his family whom he had blessed deeply throughout his life.
He was born on July 22, 1949 in Two Rivers, WI to Jules and Irene Lalko. Marty was a graduate of the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh. He was a respected and dedicated sales engineer in the Oil and Lubrication industry, most recently with Benz Oil of Milwaukee, WI. While he was an extremely successful and valued member of the Benz Oil team, his career was always secondary to his love of friends and family. He was always the first to offer assistance and support to others, sharing his zest for life and compassionate disposition with all he met.
He is survived by the love of his life Jill Delveaux Lalko; his step-son, Michael Hutzler with wife, Beth of Sugar Land, TX, and their children Madison, Gabriel, Isabella, Chloe, Abbie and Allie; his step-daughter, Michele and husband Andy and their children Hayden, Gavin and Griffin of South Hampton, NH. Marty was a dedicated and beloved "father" to both Michael and Michele and a dearly loved "PaPa Marty" to his grandchildren. He will be dearly missed.
Marty loved life. He was an avid fisherman, hunter, skier and all around sportsman. He enjoyed playing the guitar, spending vacations in Mexico and doting on his grandchildren. He was a greatly loved man and touched the lives of many during his lifetime.
Along with his loving and devoted wife, Jill, and her children Michael and Michele, Marty is survived by his brother Jack Lalko and Sister-in-Law Debbie, of Appleton, WI; his sister, Judy (Lalko) Virnoche and Brother-In-Law, Mike, of Manitowoc, WI and Mother-in-Law, Bertha Delveaux of Luxemburg, WI. He was preceded in death by his father, Jules Lalko; mother, Irene and his father-in-law, Elmer Delveaux.
A private family service celebrating his life was held at Newcomer Funeral Home on Saturday, October 27th. A memorial fund has been established for St. Jude's Cancer Center for Children. Online condolences can be made at www.NewcomerGreenBay.com
