- Mrs. Gertrude Drall (September 28, 1950, p. 12, Post-Cresent newspaper):
Mrs. Gertrude Drall, 83, of 1343 W. Washington street, died shortly before
11:30 Wednesday evening at Embarrass after a long illness. Born July 1,
1867, in Holland, she lived the last 30 years in Appleton.
Survivors are six daughters, Mrs. Paul Brauer, Lynden, Washington, Mrs.
Peter Brauer, Mrs. William Van Toll and Mrs Ted Neuman, Appleton, and Mrs.
William Staab,
Milwaukee; five sons, Klaas, Nick, John and Dick, Appleton, Albert,
Lansing, Michigan, and Peter, Milwaukee; a brother, Klaas Holenbeck,
Holland; 32 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren and a great, great
grandchild.
Friends may call at the Wichmann Funeral home after 7 o'clock this
evening. Services will be conducted by her son, Dick Drall, of Jehovahs
Witnesses, at 2 o'clock Saturday afternoon, Burial will be at Highland
Memorial park.
