      Frank Griepentrog, 74, of Greenleaf died early Monday morning at a Green Bay hospital where he had been a patient since Friday morning.

      Funeral services will be at 2 P.M. Thursday at Zion Lutheran Church at Morrison. The Rev. Dr. H.A. Koch will officiate and burial will be in the church cemetery.

      He was born July 26, 1887, in the Town of Morrison, son of the late August and Elizabeth Firminich Griepentrog. He married the former Marie Treichel at Morrison June 25, 1913, and the couple farmed in the township until nine years ago, retiring and moved to DePere. They lived there until the death of his wife last August and then Mr. Griepentrog came to live with a son, Sylvester, at Greenleaf. Frank Griepentrog was employed by the Progressive Famers Cooperative for many years and a church officer at Zion Lutheran Church.

      Surviving are four sons, Sylvester of Greenleaf, Roland of the Town of Glenmore, Brown County, LeRoy of Denmark, and Gordon on the home farm; a sister, Mrs. William Gehrke of Kaukauna and eight grandchildren. His wife, five sisters, and two brothers proceded him in death.

      Friends may call at Schwartz Funeral Home, Morrison, after 1 P.M. Wednesday until 11:30 A.M. Thursday when the bocy will be moved to the church to lie in state until the hour of service.
