Shiocton
Age 70, passed away Friday morning in New London following an illness. She was
born February 13, 1900 in Coultervale, Manitoba, Canada. She was married in
March 1931 and made her home in Shiocton since then. She was a member of the
First Congregational Church, the Willing Workers, and the American Legion
Auxiliary of Shiocton. Survivors are one daughter, Mrs. Dean (Shirley) Braatz;
2 grandchildren, Darren and Darcy Braatz, all of Brownsville, Texas; on brother,
Robert Greenley; one sister, Mrs. Elaine Pearson, both of Gilbert Plains,
Manitoba, Canada. Funeral services will be held Sunday at 2 p.m. at the First
Congregational Church of Shiocton with the Rev. Jerry Matt officiating.
Interment will be in the Town of Ellington Cemetery. Friends may call at the
Borchardt and Moder Funeral Home, Shiocton, from 2 p.m. Saturday until noon
Sunday and then at the church until the hour of service.
