- Julia A. Sweere, 92, of Wadena died Oct. 23, 2004, at Fair Oaks Lodge.
She was born July 22, 1912, to Marinus and Katherina (Van Dorst) DeBruyn in Rucphen, Netherlands. At a young age, she moved with her family to Minnesota from Holland. She married Harry H. Sweere in Otter Tail County.
She lived in Wadena since 1943, where she was a member of St. Ann's Catholic Church. Other memberships were with the Christian Mothers and church circles. She enjoyed baking cookies, camping, sewing and her family.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband on June 6, 1995; one grandson; four sisters and two brothers.
