    • Beverly Ann Fischer (Catherman) was born on January 10th, 1944 in Altoona, PA to Marian and Lloyd Catherman. She entered into heaven on February 6th, 2017, at the age of 73. Beverly spent the early part of her childhood in Altoona, PA and then, later moved with her family to northern Indiana. Bev resided there until she met the love of her life, Bill, and moved to Wisconsin, where she spent the rest of her years with her husband and family. Bev met her loving husband of 50 years, William (Bill) Fischer, while he was stationed in Indiana, while serving in the Armed forces. Once Bill was discharged, he took his fiancé back to Hortonville, Wisconsin to start their life and family together.

Bev always put everyone before her, especially her husband, her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchild: Michael (Lisa) Fischer, Lisa’s children, Angela (Tony), Gina (Jamie), and Blaire Marie (Turner), Julie (Jeff) Fassbender and their children Holly Fassbender, Carena (Charlie) Koeppl, Alyssa Fassbender (Dan Baker), great-grandbaby, Callaway Koeppl, Matthew (Kim) Fischer and their boys Racer and Reece. She also loved to watch her “adopted” grandchildren, Mya and Brielle Griesbach. She is survived by her brothers and sisters- in-law, cousins, and many nieces and nephews.

Bev was met at heaven’s gate by her parents, her mother and father-in-law, Lee and Julia Fischer (second mom), step father-in-law, Armon, sisters, Dixie and Cheryl, brother, Steven, and brothers-in-law, Stevie and Tom.

The Funeral Mass for Beverly will be held on Friday, February 10, 2017 at 4:00 p.m. at Ss Peter & Paul Catholic Church in Hortonville. Rev. Msgr. James Feely and Parish Director Greg Layton will be officiating. Visitation will take place directly at the church from 12 noon until the time of the service. Burial will be in the parish cemetery.

Mom will always be remembered for her selflessness. She will be remembered as the person who put everyone’s needs first, who worried about and prayed for everyone else; putting her needs aside and who was stronger for others than she was for herself.

Anyone who knew mom knew how much she loved to clean. People who came to our home would often say “you could eat off her floors”. She genuinely enjoyed cleaning her home. As Matt said last night, heaven just got a whole lot cleaner.

God saw you were getting tired; a cure not meant to be, so he put his arms around you and whispered, come with me…….

Until till we meet again, our angel you will always be,

We love you more than words can express,

Your loving husband, children, grandchildren and great granddaughter.

Our family would like to thank the pulmonary team at UW Health for their unwavering support and care shown to our family for the last three years, we were given three more years with Bev because of you. We would also like to thank the UW Health ICU staff for showing compassion and kindness during our last hours with her.

In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund will be set up in Beverly’s name…….
