      DEATH OF MRS. L. BROUILLARD
      Husband Gives Own Blood in Vain Effort to Save Life After Operation
      Mrs. Parmelee Brouillard, wife of Leonard Brouillard, 408 North Fourth street, died at 12:30 o'clock today at St. Elizabeth's hospital, following a third surgical operation within two days. In a vain effort to save her life, transfusion was resorted to and blood was taken from the veins of her husband for this purpose.
      Mrs. Brouillard was 47 years old. She became ill on Saturday and was taken to the hospital on Sunday. She leaves beside her husband, six children. Four of the children live here. One daughter, Miss Laura Brouillard, is manager of the Palm. Another, Mrs. Herbert Hart of La Crosse, Wis., will be here to attend the funeral. The other absent daughter, Mrs. E. J. Ralph of Kletzen, Mo., cannot come.
      The funeral probably will take place on Friday.

      OBITUARY
      Mrs. Parmelee Brouillard
      The funeral of Mrs. Parmelee Brouillard, whose death occurred yesterday at St. Elizabeth's hospital, will be held Friday morning at 9 o'clock at the Catholic church, and burial will be in the Catholic cemetery here.

      Mrs. Herbert Hart of LaCrosse, Wis., arrived in North Yakima yesterday afternoon to attend the funeral of her mother, Mrs. L. Brouillard, who died on Monday. Mrs. Hart started from LaCrosse when she learned of her mother's critical illness. She did not learn that death had taken place until after she reached this city. Mrs. Brouillard's funeral will be held at 9 o'clock tomorrow morning for St. Joseph's Catholic church. Burial will take place in the Catholic cemetery.
