    • Kornelia Barbara “Korrie” van Lith (nee Broekmeulen), of Combined Locks, passed away peacefully on Friday, April 21, 2017, surrounded by her loving family. Korrie was born on August 8, 1927 in Kerkdriel, the Netherlands. She married Peter van Lith in 1952 and emigrated with him to Australia in 1953. They raised four children in Australia, prior to immigrating to the U.S. in 1967.

Korrie was preceded in death by her parents, Karel and Anna (De Graauw) Broekmeulen; brothers: Lambert and Henk; and husband Peter.

She is survived by her children: Adrian “AJ” (Kris), Karl, Marianne (Patrick) Clark and John. Korrie was the beloved Oma of Kyle (Blair), Alyson (Brian), Ashley, Greta (Edward) and Anneke (Levi) and Great Oma to Cecilia, Stella, Nash, Cade, Braylee and Ena.

She loved knitting and sewing and was a long time member of St. Paul’s Mission Club. We will miss her laughter, long rambling stories, tea, cooking, common sense and endless supply of Mentos. Most of all, we will miss being with her and feeling her love flow around us.

Visitation will be held Wednesday, April 26, 2017 at ST. PAUL PARISH (410 Wallace St. Combined Locks) beginning at 9:00 a.m. until time of Funeral at 11:00 a.m. The Rev. Andrew Kysely will officiate. Committal St. Joseph Cemetery.

Special thanks to St. Paul Elder Services and the St. Elizabeth Hospital staff for their support the last few days.
