- Mary R. Regenfuss, 92, of 1910 N. 23rd Street, passed away Saturday evening, March 17, 2007 at Sunny Ridge Nursing Home where she had been the past two weeks.
Born September 3, 1914 in Port Washington, Mary was a daughter of the late John and Frances Gasser Begush. She attended Port Washington area schools. On July 22, 1944, she was united in marriage to Alphonse Regenfuss of Kaukauna at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Port Washington. They were married for 53 years before Al preceded her in death on May 15, 1998.
Mary was a homemaker who enjoyed knitting, crocheting, and sewing. She was a member of St. Dominic Catholic Church and its Christian Women's Association, the Catholic Women's Charity Club, Friendly Visitors, and the Sheboygan Home Makers Club. She also volunteered her time at St. John's Food and Fellowship and participated in their former Kitchen Band and the Joy Singers. She loved spending time with her loving family, grandchildren, and great grandchildren.
She is survived by her children, John (Linda) Regenfuss, Apple Valley, MN, and Karen (James) Kregel, Grafton; grandchildren, John (Erin) Regenfuss II, State College, PA, Christina (Ted) Keedick, Big Bend, WI, Michelle (Matthew) Isakson, Evanston, IL, Timothy Kregel, Stevens Point, and Amanda (Jeffrey) Yunke, Madison; great grandchildren, Hunter Keedick, and Olivia Regenfuss.
Interment will take place in Calvary Cemetery.
