      Meulemans, Yvonne Florence (Kufner)


      Yvonne Florence (Kufner) Meulemans, age 70, of Kaukauna, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, November 15, 2009, surrounded by her loving family at Appleton Medical Center. She was born February 5, 1939, in the Town of Menasha to the late Erwin and Florence (Hawley) Kufner. On September 26, 1959, she was united in marriage to Ernest Meulemans and together they celebrated their 50th anniversary this past September.

      She is survived by her beloved husband Ernest; her three daughters: Patrice (Richard) Wagner, Appleton; Lynn (Rick) Thurman, Oshkosh; and Sara Meulemans, Wrightstown; her two sons: Gary (Deb), Darboy; and Eric (Kathleen), Sheboygan; former daughter-in-law, Tami; ten grandchildren: Jessica (Bee) Moua, Tanya (Jose) Martinez, Joshua (Ashley) Meulemans, Chris McCann, Cody (Melinda) Anderson, Kaz and Kallan Anderson, Megan Thurman, Shayna and Dienna Meulemans; great-grandchildren: Serenity, Angelina, Matthew, Brianna Moua, and Reid Anderson; two great-grandsons on the way: Quinton and Anderson; two sisters: Janet Warner and Jean Wojahn; two brothers: John Kufner and Jim (Glenda) Kufner; brothers and sisters-in-law: Norm Van Heuklon, David (June) Van Ryzin, Margaret Kufner, Jan Meulemans, Roger (Audrey) Meulemans, Dee (Vern) Blodgett, and Pearl (Bill) Broeren. She is further survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

      She was preceded in death by her parents, five sisters: Margaret, Rita, Joan, Barbara, and Mary Louise; a sister-in-law, Carol Ann; two brothers: Paul and Erwin; and five brothers-in-law: Robert, Donald "Rusty," Howard, Melvin, and Conrad "Bud."

      The Mass of Christian Burial will be at 12 p.m. on Thursday, November 19, 2009, at ST. KATHARINE DREXEL PARISH at ST. ALOYSIUS SITE, 2401 Main Ave., Kaukauna, with Fr. Jerry Pastors officiating. Friends will be received directly at church on Thursday from 9 a.m. until the time of service. In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund will be established for Haven of Hope Daycare. Burial will take place in St. Mary's Cemetery. The Boettcher Family Funeral Home, Kaukauna, is assisting the family. 920-766-2099.

      Yvonne's family was the most important part of her life and she will be greatly missed by all.
