    • Winifred C. Baer, age 91, of 8899 W. Layton Ave., Greenfield, Wis., formerly of Brillion died Friday, January 26, 1996, at the Clement Manor Health Center, Greenfield.
      Funeral Services will be held Wednesday at St. Mary Catholic Church, Brillion. Rev. William O’Brien will officiate with burial in the parish cemetery.

      She was born March 22, 1904, in Brillion, daughter of the late Leonard and Johanna Clavers Thissen. On August 10, 1926 she married Michael Baer in Brillion.

      She was employed as a telephone operator in Brillion for many years. Winifred was a life-time member of St. Mary Catholic Church, Brillion, the Christian Mothers, the American Legion Auxiliary Post #126 and the Brillion Senior Citizens.

      Survivors include a daughter and son-in-law, Dolores and Charles E. Hall, Greenfield; two sons and a daughter-in-law, Donald and Judy Baer, Brillion, Omer Baer, Madison; 12 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband on January 12, 1974, a granddaughter, two sisters and two brothers.
