- Wilmer F. Mangan, 65, of R. 4, Chilton, died today in Calumet Memorial Hospital following a lingering illness. He was born Jan. 2, 1912, in the Town of Chilton, a son of the late Robert and Mary Koehn Mangan. He married Eulalia (Lolly) Ziegelbauer in Milwaukee. Mr. Mangan was a crane operator for Evenson Bros., in Valders and a truck driver for the Midland Co-op from 1969 to 1972. He was a member of St. Martin Catholic Church in Charlestown and the Holy Name Society. Surviving are his widow, a daughter, Mary Beth in Green Bay, a son, Robert of Sussex; a grandson; three sisters, Mrs. Nick Keuler of Chilton, Mrs. Jack Koppel of Appleton and Mrs. Dorothy Ziegelbauer of Fond du Lac, and six brothers, Maurice of Appleton, Norman of New Holstein, Clarence of Sheboygan, Richard and Gilbert of Kiel and Leonard of Milwaukee. Four sons, a sister and two brothers preceded him in death. The funeral Mass will be Tuesday at St. Martin Catholic Church at 11 a.m. The Rev. David Christel, pastor, will be the celebrant. The Mass will follow brief family rites at the Pfeffer-Wieting Funeral Home at Chilton. Burial will be in the parish cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home after 4 p.m. Monday until 10:30 a.m. Tuesday with a parish vigil Monday at 8 p.m.
