  Willa Jean Griesbach, age 82, died unexpectedly on May 27, 2014. She was born on March 15, 1932, daughter of the late Roland and Cora (Pelky) Hudson. On February 20, 1952 she married Merlin Griesbach and together raised four children, Lois, Patty, Barb, and Herman in addition to building a life around Merle's Repair Shop. Merlin preceded her in death on June 6, 1993. Willa was quite the office assistant working at Merle's Repair Shop, Schreiter Auto Supply, and Geenen's Department Store. She also had a big heart for serving others, as she volunteered at Oneida Heights as Caretaker and Treasurer of the Resident Council for almost 20 years. Tenants knew that when Willa was "on duty" all was safe and in order. When Willa was not working she loved spending time watching Matlock, winning card games (aka card shark), hanging out with her friends at Oneida Heights and surrounding herself with family especially grandchildren, as they stole her heart. Willa is survived by her daughters, Lois Baldwin, Patty (John) Jacobson, and son Herman (Patty) Griesbach; grandchildren Caroline (Jerry) Hodson, Laurie (Troy) Damalak, Merlin Baldwin, Beth Baldwin (Chris), Jeffrey Baldwin, and Kevin (Maria) Baldwin, April (Bill) Hershman, Jamie Griesbach (Chad), Ann (Jason) Malueg, Jeremy (Kari) Griesbach, Jonathon (Jodi) Pamperin, Christopher Pamperin; 24 great-grandchildren; and several brothers and sisters in-law. She will also be dearly missed by her special friends at Oneida Heights. She is further preceded in death by her children Barbara Ann Pamperin, Carol Ann, and Baby Boy; brothers Robert and Doug Hudson; and son-in-law Tim Hanig. Memorial service for Willa will be 10:30 AM on Saturday May 31, 2014 at VALLEY FUNERAL HOME, with Rev. Tim Sorbo officiating. Visitation will be held on Saturday at the funeral home beginning at 8:30 AM until the hour of service. In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established. "We miss you, Mom! No cheating at cards in Heaven! Don't worry, we will take great care of our gardens and helping our children grow".
