- Wayne A. Eickert, W1134 Harvestore Road, Brillion, died unexpectedly Saturday, August 29, 1998. Funeral services for Eickert will be held at St. Bartholomew Lutheran Church. The Rev. Mark Krueger will officiate. He will be buried in the Brillion Community Cemetery.
Eickert was born March 11, 1942, in Green Bay to the late Norman Sr. and Mellon (Boettcher) Eickert. He attended Trinity Lutheran Grade School and Brillion High School.
Eickert married Mary Wolf on August 24, 1965 in Brillion. He worked at the Ariens Co., Stehula Bottling Co., Hendricks Beverage and since 1971 he farmed in the town of Brillion. He was a member of St. Bartholomew Lutheran Church in Brillion.
Survivors include his wife, Mary; sons, Scott (Mary Jane) Eickert, Brillion, Paul Eickert, Brillion, and Tim Eickert, Brillion; daughters, Kris Eickert and friend Mark Brooks of Brillion, and Staci Eickert of Brillion; brothers, Donald (Carol Eickert of New Holstein; James (Judy) Eickert of Brillion; Norman (Pat) of Brillion; Keith Eickert of Brillion; sisters, Gloria (Jerry) Schmahl of Chilton; and Lois (Mark) Cmejla Sr. of Darboy; mother-in-law Liese Wolf of Chilton; brothers-in-law James (Betty) Wolf of Colorado; and John (Mary Ellen) Wolf of Rhinelander.
Eickert was preceded in death by his parents and father-in-law Elroy Wolf.
Wayne enjoyed hunting and fishing and his greatest love was farming. He will be sadly missed by his family.
