    • Timothy C. Johnson, age 46, of Chippewa Falls, Wis., and formerly of Menomonie died Tuesday, September 13, 2005, at his home.

      Timothy Christian Johnson was born December 18, 1959, in Menomonie, Wis., to Lester and Patricia (Frank) Johnson. He graduated from Menomonie High School in 1978 and then received his training in police science and recruit school from Chippewa Valley Technical College. Tim was a deputy for the Dunn County Sheriff’s Department, the Cadott Police Department and the town of Hallie Police Department. He later worked for Brave Harvestore in Menomonie. Tim married Jeanine Derks on June 16, 1984, in Eau Claire. They made their home in Chippewa Falls. Tim enjoyed woodworking and was an avid outdoorsman who loved trapping and fishing. He also loved to travel, especially to Florida. Tim was a good person with a good heart and will be sadly missed.

      Tim is survived by best friend, Jeanine Johnson of Chippewa Falls; two sisters and two brothers, Lucy (David) Wisner of Cottage Grove, Wis., Robin (Marvin) Blodgett of Menomonie, Jeffrey (Kim) Johnson of Morristown, Tenn., and Jason Johnson of Menomonie; nieces and nephews, Stacey (Chris) Taylor of Madison, Kirsten Wisner of San Diego, Calif., Zachary Johnson of Morristown, Tenn., and Mackensie Johnson of Morristown, Tenn.; other relatives and friends.

      He was preceded in death by his parents, Lester and Patricia Johnson.

      Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. on Saturday, September 17, 2005, at Olson Funeral Home in Menomonie, with Rev. Rolf Morck officiating. Burial will be in Christ Lutheran/Halvorson Cemetery in Menomonie.

      Family and friends are welcome at the funeral home from 5 to 7 p.m. on Friday and one hour prior to the service on Saturday.
