- Tim Ronald Verhaagh, 43, Little Suamico, passed away on Saturday, September 16, 2017 in Greenville, South Carolina. He was born in Green Bay on Nov. 15, 1973 to Ronald and Karen (Eliason) Verhaagh. Tim graduated from Bay Port High School class of 1992. He served in the Marine Reserves. Tim was currently working as a millwright for Spirit Construction of Green Bay. On October 5th he would have been with them for 20 years. He loved fishing with a passion, hunting, watching the Packers, Badgers and Crimson Tide, going to Hodag with Conni and dancing in the kitchen. Tim was like a Dad to Conni's kids and a grandpa to her granddaughters. They called him Jungle Gym Tim.
Tim was the type of person that put his family and friends first. He was always a phone call away whether he be knee deep in mud helping pull out a stuck vehicle, soaking wet or crawling under a van in a parking lot to find the problem. He would sit with a friend in silence just to be there in case they needed to talk. Tim's heart was big and there was nothing that he would let get between him and helping others. If he was helping someone and was late picking Conni up he would apologize profusely when he did get there.
Survivors include his parents, Ron and Karen; very special friend, Conni Noskowiak; aunts and uncles, Jerry (Mary) Verhaagh; Ray Verhaagh; Joyce (Tom) Mcfadden; Joan (Jack) Diederich; Clyde Verhaagh; Barbara (Dan) Calewarts; Bill (Connie) Verhaagh; Donna (Conrad) Umnus; Janice (Dave) Tidmarsh; Rita Barton; Fay (Ron) Gallus; Roy Eliason; many cousins, family, friends especially Steve Van Lanen, Brian Gilles, Jimmy McDonald and so many others.
Tim was preceded in death by his grandparents, William (Henrietta) Verhaagh and Lowell Eliason and June Eliason; aunt, Darlene Verhaagh; cousin, Jeff Diederich.
