Notes - Ruth Lorna (Brettner) Roffers, 81, De Pere, passed away peacefully on Monday evening June 13, 2011. She was born May 4, 1930, in Chicago, IL, to the late Gustave and Katie (Knuth) Brettner. On August 26, 1950 she married the love of her, life Richard "Dick" Roffers. In November of 1981, she started R&R Homestead Hot Fudge Toppings. Ruth also started the first Bed and Breakfast in Brown County. Ruth is survived by her children; Richard (Dianne) Roffers Jr., Susan (Steve) Peters, Lorna (Jim Eisner) Roffers, Tom (Jean) Roffers, and Timothy (Tina) Roffers, as well as 17 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren, her sister-in-law Darlene (Roffers) Peeters, and her cousin Ken Lindemann.
She was preceded in death by her husband Dick, her brother Richard (Dorothy) Brettner, and brother-in-law Jerry (Ruth) Roffers.
