Hudak, Ruth C. Ruth Hudak, 82, Kimberly, passed away peacefully, with her family at her side on Good Friday, April 6, 2007, at Theda Clark Medical Center in Neenah. Ruth was born in Appleton, on Feb. 23, 1925, daughter of the late Martin and Lillian (Cloutier) Wyngard. On Sept. 9, 1944, she married Edward A. Hudak in Walsh, Wis.; Ed preceded her in death in 1971. Ruth was well known by family and friends for her love of children she enjoyed babysitting for her grandchildren and relatives. She was also an excellent baker, and enjoyed spending Thanksgiving holidays "up north" with the family. She was also the proud owner of her prized parrot, "Corky."
Ruth is survived by two sons, Edward (Kay) Hudak, Neenah; and Patrick (Kym) Hudak, Appleton; three daughters, Judy (Steve) Bruch, Appleton; Connie Coffey, Milwaukee; and Jean (Jeff) Loehrke, Pine River; 14 grandchildren, Eric (Jennifer) Hudak, Rebecca (Kevin) Beringer, Andrew Hudak and his fiancee, Jessica Medved, Tamarine Hudak, Patrick Hudak, Jr., Scott Paeth, Craig Paeth, Michael (Tina) Paeth, Christen Coffey, Trisha (Dave) Crowther, Lisa (Mark) Handrich, James Haufschildt and his fiancee, Amanda, Tina Haufschildt and her special friend, Nick, and Brian Haufschildt; 12 great-grandchildren; a brother, James (Evie) Wyngard, Kimberly; four sisters, Rosalie Van Nuland, Little Chute; Betty (Vince) Bahl, Wausaukee; Esther (Leonard) Gilbertson, and Marie (August) Mielke, Kimberly; a brother-in-law, Joseph (Delia) Hudak, Marinette; and a sister-in-law, Betty Downs, Marinette.
Ruth was preceded in death by her parents; a brother, Martin (Lelo) Wyngard; a sister, Dorothy (George) Rastall; brothers-in-law, Jacob Van Nuland and Jim Downs; a sister-in-law, Helen (George) Baribeau; and by Ed's parents, Andrew and Mary Hudak.
The funeral liturgy for Ruth will be held at noon on Tuesday, April 10, 2007, at HOLY NAME PARISH (600 E. Kimberly Avenue in Kimberly), with Fr. Tom Pomeroy officiating. Interment will be in Holy Name Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home on Monday, from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. and again Tuesday, at the church, from 11 a.m. until the hour of the service. There will be a parish prayer and scripture service at 7 p.m. at the funeral home.
Ruth was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother who will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.
