Chilton, Wis(Special)Rudolph Verweyst, of the town of Brothertown, passed away Wednesday at St. Agnes hospital in Fond du Lac where he was taken several days ago after he suffered a fractured hip in a fall at his home. Deceased was born April 24, 1868, the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Cornelius Verweyst. On Sept, 12, 1892, he was married to Miss Anna Nisler. For 30 years the family lived in Theresa, Wis and for the past 15 years in the town of Brothertown. He was a member of the Catholic Order of Foresters.
Survivors are his widow; three children/ Mrs. A. W. Bell of Hayton, Mrs. August Reinl of the town of Brothertown, and Mrs. Arno Martin of New Holstein; one brother, Frank Verweyst of Stanley, Wis. and one sister, Mrs. Arnold Vande Hey of Stanley. Three sisters preceded him in death.
Funeral services will be conducted Monday at the Pfeffer Funeral home of this city and at St. Charles Catholic church in Charlesburg, the Rev. Leo F. Binder, officiating. Interment will be in St. Charles cemetery.
