Ruby A. Sanderfoot
Little Chute
Age 69, died Saturday, June 25, 2005 at Appleton Medical Center. Ruby was born July 25, 1935 in Little Chute to Pete and Ida [Van Schindel] Ver Voort. She married Richard Sanderfoot on June 17, 1953 at St. John Nepomucene Church, Little Chute where she was a life long member. In addition to knitting St. John Mission Club, Ruby enjoyed the Thursday night bowling league at the Kaukauna Bowling Bar, Skyview trips to Las Vegas, crafting and spending time with her family at their cottage in Fremont. She was a long time employee for the Times Villager.
Ruby is survived by her husband, Richard, Little Chute; four children, Linda [Dennis] DeValk, Little Chute; Dale [Stephanie] Sanderfoot, Little Chute; Deb [Dale] Burghardt, Butte Des Morts; and Tom [Diane] Sanderfoot, Freedom; nine grandchildren, Tara, Kara, Molly, Angela and Stephanie Sanderfoot, Tracie [Mark] Polomis, Melissa, Joshua, and Krysta Burghardt; two great grandchildren, Dakota and Dalton; two sisters and one brother, Mary Jane Hartjes, Ken [Donna] Ver Voort, and Jule Wippich; and brothers and sisters in-law, Shirley [Phil] Van Lankvelt, Audrey [Jim] Van Lankvelt, and Bob Sanderfoot; also aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and many friends.
Ruby is preceded in death by her parents, father and mother in-law, Al and Edith Sanderfoot; and two brothers in-law, Robert Hartjes and Richard Wippich.
Friends may call Tuesday after 2 p.m. until time of funeral mass at 6 p.m. at St. John Catholic Church, with the Rev. Msgr. James Vanden Hogen officiating. Interment in the parish cemetery.
