Royal F. Weyenberg 'Buck' 146 N. John St. Kimberly
Age 86, died peacefully at his home with his family at his side on Thursday, April 18, 1996. He was born July 5, 1909, in Sullivan, Wi. son of the late Peter and Helen (Van Ert) Weyenberg. He married Anna Hoks on February 4, 1931, At St. Nicholas Catholic Church, Freedom. He had been employed at Kieffer Cheese Factory, Freedom, prior to his employment at Kimberly Clark, Kimberly Mills until his retirement in 1966. Buck loved fishing, playing cards, hunting, tinkering in his garage, and relaxing on his sun porch. He was a member Holy Name Catholic Church. the Quarter Century Club of Kimberly Clark and the Golden Ages.
He survived by his wife of 65 years. 48 grandchildren and 44 great grandchildren, three bothers and sisters in-law; John Weyenberg, Appleton; Sylvester Weyenberg, Kimberly; Harold and Roseanne Weyenberg, Kimberly; Edith Weyenberg, Zion, Illinois; two sisters; Dorothy Fox, Agnes Du Pont, both of Kimberly; numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by two daughters, Carol Ann in 1935, Ramona Louise Stark in 1992, a granddaughter, Rita, two brothers; Ben and Louis Weyenberg, a sister in-law, Bertha Weyenberg, two brothers in-law, Joseph Du Pont and Fred Fox.
The funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, at Holy Name Catholic Church in Kimberly. Burial will be in Holy Name Cemetery. Friends may call at the Jansen-Fargo Funeral Home, 204 E. Kimberly Ave., Kimberly from 4 until 9 p.m. on Friday (today) and after 9 a.m. on Saturday until the cortege leaves for the church. There will be a parish prayer service at 7:30 p.m. Friday evening. A memorial fund has been established.
