- Hagen, Roxie K. (Roxie Sackett Bellile) New London Age 76, passed away on Monday, July 07, 2003, at Appleton Medical Center.
Roxie was born in Ogdensburg, Wisconsin on May 5, 1927, the daughter of Rexford and Eva Sackett.
She married Merton Hagen on October 20, 1984 in New London.
Roxie enjoyed reading, taking pictures, cross-stitching, and taking trips to the casino. She loved being a Grandma and a Great Grandma. Roxie worked several years as a retail clerk at several New London stores including Markman's, Pries and Lerchers. She was an active member of the Emanuel Lutheran Ladies Aid.
Roxie will be greatly missed by her seven children: Carolyn (Kenneth) MacNab, Lewis (Kay) Bellile, Edward (Deb) Bellile, Ronald (Mary) Bellile, Randall (Vickie) Bellile, Richard (Terri) Bellile, Carla Bellile, Fifteen Grandchildren: Andrew MacNab, Kristy MacNab (fiance Chris Hughes) Katy (Justin) Sommer, Benjamin (Lisa) Bellile, Christopher, Tracie, James, Thomas, Brian, Nathan, Eric, Adam, Ryan Bellile, Jared and Shelley Koplien, and two special great granddaughters, Kylee Sommer and Skyler Bellile. She is further survived by, her first husband Lewis. E. Bellile, her two sisters and brother in-law Margaret Lee and Char (Duane) Plamann, and their children. Roxie is also survived by her sisters- in-law and brothers in-law: Laura, Helen and Jeanne Bellile, Dorothy Jackson, Carl (Doris) Bellile and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents Rexford and Eva Sackett, husband Merton Hagen, brother in-law Robert Lee, Brother in-laws and sister in-laws: George (Esther) Bellile, Gordon, Alfred, Fred Bellile, Elsie Wright.
Funeral service will be held on Wednesday, July 9, 2003 at 11:00AM at Emanuel Lutheran Church in New London with Rev. William Favorite officiating. Burial will be in the Floral Hill Cemetery in New London. Friends may call on Tuesday (TODAY) at the Cline & Hanson Funeral Home in New London from 4-8PM and also on Wednesday at the church from 9AM until the time of service. The family would like to extend a special thanks to the ICU staff at Appleton Medical Center, and Dr Ferrante.
