Rosemary Isabel Voeltz, 82, of Appleton, died Thursday April 21, 2016 at Theda Care Regional Medical Center, Appleton. She was born in Appleton, March 31, 1934, daughter of the late Isador and Isabel (Pompa) Brouillard. Rosemary married Wayland Voeltz in 1955. He preceded her in death in 1975.
Rosemary loved to dance, especially polka. She and Wayland use to polka on the TV show, "Polka Show". In her younger years, Rosemary loved to go deer hunting in Montana and Wyoming.
Rosemary is survived by her brother, Harold Brouillard (Special Friend, Sharon Bauer), Gainesville, FL; and sister, Marie Filen, Appleton; 13 nieces and nephews, Mary (Dennis) O'Malley, Mike (Mary) Brouillard, Donny (Ginny) Brouillard, Julie (Rob) Foat, Kenny (Sue) Brouillard, Jim (Carol) Brouillard, Russ (Denise) Brouillard, Bob (Terri) Brouillard, Tom (Mary) Brouillard, Pam (Chip) Wilda, Jeff (Diane) Filen, God daughter, Jean (Mike) Pawlowski, and Joe (Dawn) Filen; and a sister-in-law, Shirley Brouillard. She was further preceded in death by her two brothers, Jerry (Delores) Brouillard, Ray Brouillard; and brother in-law, Jim Filen.
Funeral service for Rosemary will be held at 5:00 PM on Tuesday April 26, 2016 at VALLEY FUNERAL HOME, with Deacon Rick Simon from St. Pius X Catholic Church officiating. Family will receive friends and relatives at the funeral home on Tuesday beginning at 3:00 PM until the hour of service. Burial will be at Riverside Cemetery, Appleton.
Rosemary's family would like to extend a special thank you, to the entire staff on the 7th floor at Theda Care Regional Medical Center, and Theda Care at Home Hospice. And to the entire staff at Carolina Manor, where Rosemary called home for the past nine years, for all of the care and compassion shown.
