Weyers, Rosella H. "Sally"
Rosella Weyers, 97, Neenah, died peacefully Saturday, Jan. 19, 2008, at her home at Villa St. Clare. She was born Nov. 1, 1910, in Kaukauna, daughter of Nicholas and Mary (Kortz) Timmers. Sally married Henry N. Weyers on Nov. 23, 1931, at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Kaukauna, and he preceded her in death May 10, 1995. She was a member of St. Margaret Mary Catholic Church, Neenah. Sally was an avid Packers fan and enjoyed golfing, playing cards and reading. She, her sisters and sisters-in-law "the knitpickers" enjoyed getting together to knit, crochet and do crafts.
Mrs. Weyers is survived by her children, Ruth Pleshek, Oconto; Eunice (Robert) Becker, Greenville; Dee (Donald "Doc") Mosher, Neenah; Betty (Tom) Schoenberger, Oshkosh; Peg Draves, Neenah; and Hank (Judy) Weyers, Oshkosh; 17 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren; a sister, Dorothy Siebers, Little Chute; two sisters-in-law, Dorothy Timmers, Kaukauna; and Agnes Weyers, Appleton.
She was also preceded in death by two sons-in-law, Roger Pleshek and Charlie Draves; two grandchildren, Debbie Schwartz and Bob Schoenberger; and a great-grandson, Christopher Lampe-Smick. On the Timmers side by four brothers, three sisters-in-law, three sisters and four brothers-in-law, and on the Weyers side by eight brothers-in-law and eight sisters-in-law.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 22, 2008, at St. Margaret Mary Church, 610 Division Street, Neenah, with Rev. David Koch officiating. Entombment will be in the Shrine of Heaven Mausoleum, Neenah. Friends may call at the church from 9 a.m. Tuesday until the time of the mass. A memorial has been established.
The family wishes to express a special thank you to the staff at Villa St. Clare for their exceptional care and compassion for mom.
