- Rose K. Ronsman, 97, Green Bay, passed away Saturday morning, March 5, 2011, at the Jack and Engrid Meng Residence, Unity Hopice. She was born on Sept. 16, 1913, to the late Herman and Clara (Hein) Runnoe. On June 14, 1932, she married the late Henry Ronsman. Henry passed away on Dec. 2, 1999.
Rose was a member of Nativity of Our Lord Parish and is now a member of St. Agnes Catholic Church. She enjoyed making patchwork quilts and delicious homemade candy, cracking hickory nuts and playing Canasta. Rose volunteered at Nativity Church, St. Vincent de Paul, Red Cross and San Luis Manor Nursing Home for many years.
Rose is survived by her seven children, Robert and good friend, Joan, Ron (Audrey deceased), Gerald (Patricia), Thomas (Jane), Diane (David) Olson, Kaye and good friend, Kathy, Patrick (Sharon); 32 grandchildren, 34 great-grandchildren, two great-great-grandsons; one brother, Gordon Runnoe; one sister, Verna Lemmens; two sisters-in-law, Rosina and Ruth Runnoe; and two brothers-in-law, Arnie Lemmens and Jim Propaska.
She was preceded in death by seven brothers and four sisters, Ernest, Norbert, Vincent, Donald, Cyril, Howard, Norbert, Viola, Irene, Rita and Margaret.
Family and friends may call at St. Agnes Catholic Church, Green Bay, from 9:30 to 11:15 a.m. Tuesday, March 8, 2011. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:30 a.m. Tuesday at the church with Father Dane Radecki, O. Praem., officiating. Burial in Ft. Howard Cemetery.
