- Bo Weigman, age 98, formerly of Kaukauna, passed away Friday afternoon, April 30, 2010, in New Berlin, Wisconsin. She was born April 8, 1912, in Appleton, daughter of the late Theodore and Josephine (DeGroot) Wydeven, and married Norman Weigman on August 4, 1936, at Holy Name Church in Kimberly. Together, the couple owned and operated Wiggie's Food Center in Kaukauna for many years. Bo enjoyed gardening, bird watching and needlecrafts, but her true love was spending time in the kitchen. She will be fondly remembered as an excellent cook and baker.
Bo is survived by four children: Dennis (Janice) Weigman of Hustisford; Patrick Weigman of The Villages, Florida; Timothy (Jayne) Weigman of Chandler, Arizona; and Kathleen (Richard) Malzer of Hales Corners; twelve grandchildren: Julie, Melissa, Amanda, Tricia, Max, Tammi, Holli, Heidi, Amy, Adam, Colleen, and Bridget; fourteen great-grandchildren; a brother: Jack (Shirlee) Wydeven of Kimberly; two sisters: Kathleen Allen of Midland, Michigan and Mary Hoolihan of Appleton. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband in 1982, an infant son, an infant daughter Colleen, a great-granddaughter Jessica Weigman in 2001, a brother Clifford (Harriet) Wydeven, and brothers-in-law C.B. Allen and Richard Hoolihan.
A memorial mass for Bo will be celebrated at ST. KATHARINE DREXEL PARISH ST. MARY'S SITE at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, May 12, 2010, with Fr. Jerry Pastors officiating. Inurnment will be in St. Mary Cemetery. Friends may call directly at the church on Wednesday morning from 9:30 a.m. until the hour of the mass. In lieu of flowers, the family has suggested donations to a memorial fund in Bo's name.
