Notes - Robert J. Hacker, 86, of R. 1, Brillion, died Monday at his home.
He was born Jan. 15, 1889 in the town of Brillion, the son of the late William and Magdeline Haelfrisch Hacker. On Oct. 26, 1911 he married Lydia Ott at Forest Junction.
Mr. Hacker farmed until 1942 when he moved to Brillion and served as manager of the Brillion Co-op for five years prior to working at the Larsen Canning Co., for many years.
After the death of his wife in 1957 he moved to the homestead farm and made his home with his son, Ross.
He was a member of the state and national Ayrshires Association, a member of Zion United Methodist Church, Forest Junction, the Gideon Bible Class and held many offices in the church and the church camp association.
Survivors are two daughters, Mrs. Karl (Ruth Habeck of Shawano and Mrs. Arnold (MaryAnn) Enneper of Green Bay; two sons, Glenn and Ross both of R. 1, Brillion; 16 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren; a sister, Mrs. Robert Kloehn of Forest Junction; a brother, Roy of Seymour. A son and three brothers preceded him in death.
Funeral services will be at Zion United Methodist Church, Forest Junction. The Rev. Calmer Overlien, pastor, will officiate.
