- Robb DeGroot, 43, Green Bay, passed away unexpectedly, Thursday, July 24, 2014. Born on August 29, 1970, he is the son of Ron and Jody DeGroot. Robb was a 1988 graduate of Premontre High School, and went on to receive a degree from the University of Oshkosh. After college Robb worked as a carpenter in the family construction business. He took great pride in the work that he did. Nothing was "good enough", it had to be done right. Robb loved motocross racing. He raced for 13 years, after racing, he would trail ride ATV's with his daughter. He loved going "up north" to the cabin, going to the cottage in Door County, or just about everything that he and Haley could do together with their two dogs, Moxie and Zeus.
He was a loving father, son, brother, and uncle. He was always willing to help. He is and will be greatly missed. We love you Robb.
He is survived by his daughter, Haley; parents Ron and Jody DeGroot; brother, Ryan; God daughters, Taylor and Morgan DeGroot; many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
Robb was preceded in death by his grandparents, Rendall and Mabel DeGroot and James and Joyous Basten.
Private services will be held at a later date. Malcore (East) Funeral Home is assisting the family.
