    • Tousey, Richard W. "Doc" "Dick"

      Richard W. "Doc" "Dick" Tousey, Little Chute, age 73, died Monday, August 26, 2013 at his home. He was born in Kaukauna on October 25, 1939 to the late Arden and Rosmary (Cavil) Tousey. Richard served in the Navy from 1957 to 1963 and was a member of the Jacob Coppus American Legion Post 258. He married Linda Lambie on December 29, 1962 at Holy Cross Parish in Kaukauna. Dick retired as a Shipping Supervisor from Appleton Papers Combined Locks Mill in 2001 where coworkers and friends knew him as "Shippin' Dick." He was a member of St. John Nepomucene Catholic Church and the Knights of Columbus Council 10919.

      Dick's hobbies include: travelling, playing softball in his younger years, being a Boy Scout Master in Little Chute, camping at Enchanted Forest Campground in Wild Rose for 43 years, any building project, operating a chainsaw, spending time with his grandchildren, teasing waitresses at their favorite local restaurants, watching the Green Bay Packers, playing cards with friends and making special birthday phone calls. Most of all he loved attending daily Mass at St. John's and was looking forward to reclaiming his self-assigned pew.

      Richard is survived by his wife of 50 years, Linda; children: Mike (LuAnne) of Pleasant Prairie; Buck of Fremont; Jill (Jerry) Burgbacher of Darboy; and Tara (Matt) Fritsch of Little Chute; grandchildren: Ian and Delaney Tousey, Nic Tousey, Sam and Shayna Chartier, Jeremy Burgbacher, Jayme (Ryan) Albrecht, Joy and Jill Burgbacher, Austin, Jacob, Gavin and Emma Fritsch; 10 great grandchildren and expecting one in October; siblings: Arda (Bob) Smith, Tim (Vicki), Gloria (Bob) Verkuilen and Jolayne (Ron) Van Landveldt; and Linda's siblings: Bob (Joy), Donna and Ric Lambie. He is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

      In addition to his parents, Richard was preceded in death by his father and mother-in-law, Eugene and Patricia (Oudenhoven) Lambie.

      Visitation will be held Thursday, August 29, 2013 at ST. JOHN NEPOMUCENE CATHOLIC CHURCH (323 S. Pine St. Little Chute) beginning at 1:00 p.m. until time of Mass at 4:00 p.m. The Rev.
