      Richard is survived by his brother, Karl Van Roy; and nieces and nephews.

      He was preceded in death by his parents, Dr. Peter Van Roy and Clara (Ullmer) Van Roy; a brother, Howard Van Roy; and a sister, Jeanette Van Roy.
