    • Richard Wagner, of Summit Lake, died Wednesday, April 11, 2018, at his home. He was 80 years old. He was born on July 24, 1937, in Antigo, a son of the late Aloysious and Nina (Brennaman) Wagner. He married Corinne Kilsdonk on January 27, 1962. She preceded him in death on April 1, 1994.

      Richard graduated from Elcho High School, class of 1955. He served in the United States Air Force from 1955 to 1959.

      Richard was an electrician employed at Holt Electric Motor Company in Milwaukee, retiring in 2000. Following retirement he moved to Summit Lake.

      He was an outdoorsman, who enjoyed fishing and hunting. He was an avid bowler, having coached junior league bowling at Capital Pladium Lanes and Valley Park Lanes both in Milwaukee. He was a Wisconsin Badger Basketball, Milwaukee Brewers and Green Bay Packers fan.

      In his younger years his athleticism earned him a try out for the St. Louis Cardinals as a pitcher, but due to his military commitment was unable to accept a position.

      Survivors include three children, Todd Wagner of Milwaukee, Steve (Ginny) Wagner of Menomonee Falls and Tania (Kevin) Miennert of Hubertus; nine grandchildren, Kathy, Jessica, Kimberly, Christina, Joshua, Stephanie, Sean, Alexander and Zackariah; 12 great-grandchildren; three brothers, Jerry (Joann) Wagner of Summit Lake, Jan "Chip" (Veronica) Wagner of Pelican Lake and Larry (Brenda) Wagner of Michigan; and a sister, JoAnn Reedy of Green Bay.

      In addition to his wife and parents, he is preceded in death by a grandson, Nathanial; a great-grandson, Aaron; four brothers, Mick, Kevin, Scott, and David in infancy; and a sister, Susan Strope.

      A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, May 1, at 7 p.m. at Bradley Funeral Home with Rev. Wes Jedras officiating. Visitation will be Tuesday at the funeral home from 4 p.m. until the time of service. Burial will take place on Wednesday, May 2 at 1 p.m. at the Wood National Veterans Cemetery in Milwaukee where he will receive Military Honors.
