  Konkol, Regina G. Menasha Age 96, passed away on Monday, March 11, 2002 at Franciscan Care Center in Appleton. Regina was born December 7, 1905 in Little Chute the daughter of the late Nicholas and Agnes (Pennings) Schommer. She married Theodore "Ted" Konkol, who preceded her in death in 1972. Regina was a life long member of St. Patrick Catholic Church. She loved cats, playing cards, raising orchids, roses and working in her garden. Regina was the youngest of 11 children, with all of her brothers and sisters preceding her in death. She is survived by her children: Marion Gonnering, Appleton Charlotte (Bill) Dahl, Neenah Richard (Patti) Konkol, Menasha a son-in-law, Robert "Bud" Phillips, Green Bay a daughter-in-law, Norma (Jim) Tuttle, Appleton 17 grandchildren, 34 great-grandchildren, 13 great-great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by a son, Theodore Konkol, Jr. a daughter, Shirley Phillips a son, Kenneth Konkol and a son-in-law, Nicholas Gonnering and a daughter-in-law, Patricia Konkol. The funeral Mass for Regina will be held on Saturday, March 16, 2002 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Patrick Catholic Church, 320 Nicolet Blvd., Menasha with Father Roy Geenen officiating. Burial will be in St. Margaret Cemetery. Friends and family will be received at the church on Saturday morning at 9:30 a.m. until the hour of the Mass. A memorial is being established for the Alzheimers Association. The family extends a special thank you to the staff of Franciscan Care Center, Units 1 and 2 for all the special loving care given.
