Louison-Williamson, Regina A. (nee Vande Burgt) Regina A. Louison-Williamson (nee Vande Burgt), age 80, passed away peacefully on Sunday, January 14, 2007, at St. Elizabeth's Hospital in Appleton. She was born on June 29, 1926, in Holland, the daughter of Martin Sr. and Hendrika (Willemsen) Vande Burgt. She worked at the Hortonville Toy Factory and Zwicker Knitting Mill. Regina was a very patient and quiet person who enjoyed doing many crafts. She especially enjoyed ceramics, crocheting, embroidery, sewing, and quilting. Regina also had a love for gardening, planting flowers and canning.
Regina is survived by her children: Robert (Mary) Williamson, Sandra (George) Shepherd, Kenneth (Mary) Williamson, and Joyce (Gary) Lasee; grandchildren: Sarah Williamson, Robert David (Beth) Williamson, Tina (Chris) Dumbleton, Christina (special friend, Brad) Shepherd, Tracy (Stephanie) Williamson, Travis Williamson, Brent Williamson, Jamie (Lori) Lasee, and Jason (Colleen) Lasee; great-grandchildren: Steven, Ian, Emma, Ashley, Caity, Xavier, Zander, Kevin, and Samantha; sisters: Bert (Howard) Brux, Theresa Eiting, Marie (Jerry) Miller, Betty (Harvey) Schroeder, and Barb (Laverne) Steinberg; brothers: Adrian (Pat) Vande Burgt and Martin Jr. (Mary) Vande Burgt; and many other relatives and friends.
She is preceded in death by her parents, a son, Daniel Louison; a sister, Margaret; and a grandson, Todd Williamson.
Funeral services for Regina will be held at Valley Funeral Home on Saturday, January 20, 2007, at 11:30 a.m. with Fr. David Belongia officiating. Burial will be at Highland Memorial Park. Visitation will be at 9 a.m. until the time of service.
The family would like to give a special thank you to the Caroline Manor and the staff at St. Elizabeth's Hospital.
