      Vander Velden, Reed Martin "Jug" Reed Martin "Jug" Vander Velden, age 58, died of cancer at home in Appleton, Sunday, December 24, 2006. He was born April 22, 1948, to Robert Martin and Margaret Catherine (Kohl) Vander Velden.

      Survivors include one daughter, Tara Lea (Eric) Campagna and two granddaughters, Rachel Catherine (2 yrs.) and Sydney Alexandra (3 wks.), Highlands Ranch, Colorado; Tara's mother (Sweet Sue) and James Kerrigan, Colorado; three brothers: Raymond Robert (Butch) and Sue Vander Velden, Kaukauna; Daniel Lee (Biff) and Sue Vander Velden, Greenville; Patrik Thomas (Doc) Vander Velden and Kathy Dahl, Madison; one sister, Ricky Josephine Vander Velden, Appleton; James Kempf, Appleton; and Felix, a childhood companion.

      Jug was preceded in death by his parents, Mugsy and Bob.
