      Van Grinsven, Rebekah
      Rebekah Van Grinsven, Kimberly, passed away at the Appleton Medical Center on Wednesday, June 11, 2008. She had struggled with MS for some twenty years, and has now found peace at the age of 46. Rebekah was born in Illinois on February 24, 1962, daughter of the late Chester Allen and Betty (Belcher) Allen who resides in Illinois. On July 1, 1988, she married Tom Van Grinsven at Fort Knox, Kentucky, and the couple had shared nearly twenty years together.
      Rebekah is survived by her husband, Tom Van Grinsven, Kimberly; her mother, Betty Allen, Illinois; six brothers and sisters: Debra Allen, Bob Allen, and John Allen, all of Illinois; Donna (Menom) Abas Al Khuzaei, Qutar, Saudi Arabia; Beth Ann (Eric) Lee, Ohio; and Dan (Julie) Allen of Illinois. She is also survived by Toms mother: Joyce Van Grinsven of Kimberly; Tom's children: Shelly (Steve) Wedde, Clintonville and their children Cody and Kayla; and Jackie Opperman, Marion and her son Bryce; and by Tom's brothers and sister: Ted (Kathy), Kimberly; Phil (Helen), Wyoming; Jerry (Sue), Kimberly; Bob (Sharon), Darboy; Dick (Barb), Chilton; Dan (Connie), Little Chute; and Nancy (David) Evers, Kimberly. Rebekah is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and many friends.
      She was preceded in death by her father, Chester Allen, a brother Ray Allen, her father-in-law Lawrence Pug Van Grinsven, and by a niece Sheika Abas Al Khuzaei.
      Friends may call at the funeral home on Friday from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. The funeral service and burial will take place in Rebekah's hometown of Bridgeport, Illinois at a later date.
